Because human experience and the body are intrinsically entwined, the internal design of the human body fascinates me.   And while there are several ways to make sense of our bodies' internal workings, my interest lies in the space(s) where nature, fantasy and technology collide.

Recent advances in imaging technology provide new, authoritative interpretations of the body's interior through non-invasive techniques.   Informed by such contemporary schematizations - MRI scans, CT scans, x-rays and ultrasounds - I reconfigure "parts" to create implausible, ambiguous "subjects" or systems.   The resultant image is a dialogue between personal, experiential interpretations or intuitions of the body and more "objective" or empirical understanding of these complex systems.
